TCN Board Announces Next CEO

The TCN Board Announces Denise Craig as Chief Executive

As The Church Network (TCN) Board President and on behalf of the entire Board I am excited to announce that Denise Craig has been selected to serve as the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TCN. Denise will assume her position as CEO Elect on July 18th and fully transition to CEO September 1, 2022, upon Phill Martin’s retirement after faithfully serving the association for twenty-two years, the last three and a half as our current CEO.

The TCN Board had engaged one of the top executive recruiting agencies in the country, Slingshot Group, in August of 2020 to lead us through this important transition. The TCN Board has been prayerfully and diligently interviewing a number of professionally qualified candidates to fill this important leadership role and we feel confident that God has revealed the right person to lead TCN.

Denise has more than 19 years of church administration experience, and most recently she has served as the Executive Pastor of Operations at Abba’s House in Hixson, TN. Denise’s extensive church administration background and strong leadership experience will build upon the great leadership of her predecessors to further strengthen TCN into the future.

Denise received a BS Degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, graduate studies in Teaching and Learning at Cumberland University, and graduate course work in Biblical Studies at Berea Bible College. Denise became a Certified Church Administrator (CCA) in 2006 and is a Certified Financial Coach with Ramsey Solutions.
