Church Management Hall of Fame
Tom Crow, CCA
TCN Member since 1986
Tom Crow was raised in a God-centered home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of seven. He was in church whenever the doors opened in part because his mother was the church organist. Tom received well-grounded training through Southwestern Seminary and US Army chaplaincy ministry which prepared him for a life-long church ministry career.
Tom has served the Lord in Christian ministry for over forty-five years including three years’ of United States Army military service in Fort Sill, OK and at four Southern Baptist churches from Albuquerque, NM, to Fort Worth, TX, to Charlotte, NC, to Nashville, TN. The Church Network membership and certification have been invaluable to Tom’s ministry over the years as he leaned on and learned from his many friends and leaders of TCN.
Tom’s faith-centered family and life-mentors have inspired his commitment to help others know Christ and passionately serve the church. These ministry experiences would have been impossible without his life-partner of forty-seven years, Jackie Crow. Together they raised Carrie and Philip, who both live in Colorado, are active in their faith, and parent Tom’s grandchildren Jackson and Norah Grace.
A new life phase began in January 2020, and now Tom enjoys more time hiking, fishing, and camping in Colorado with Jackie and family. He continues to share his faith and rely on his vast ministry experience as a consultant to churches, laymen, other leaders, and pastors.
One of Tom’s favorite Bible verses is from Philippians 1.21: For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
